HAPPY SPRING IN KOREA! Is it just me, or did it suddenly get warmer overnight? Anyway, hope everyone is staying healthy and happy. Speaking of healthy, I wonder if there are still some teachers struggling with a non-English version of MS Office on our school's computers. I just posted a new instruction sheet for newer versions of Office and Windows that may help you to change your language settings. Just go to the 'Ideas and Resources' page and look under "PowerPointers" - there are four different solutions for you to try and change some default settings for various combinations of Windows OS / MS Office. Many thanks to Buziwe Mbatha for making me aware of other possible issues. Take Care!
NEW GAME JUST UPLOADED & NEW BABY JUST DOWNLOADED! Happy Monday to all of my fellow GEPIK teachers, coordinators and mentors. Orientation last Thursday and Friday was fantastic! I truly feel our students are lucky to have such great new teachers. Can't wait to see our amazing veteran teachers later in the year. Speaking of veteran teachers, our very own GEPIK Mentor Bryan Betz has welcomed a new honorary member of our team into the world. As I tell my students who produce something great, "Good Job!" Oh, I just uploaded a new game to use in your classrooms - Matching Game-18 (found on the 'Game Room' page) works great for reviewing lessons with 18 Q/A possibilities + 18 hidden pictures. Have fun, and enjoy this nice weather.
Just a quick post before I get some sleep after an amazing 2 days at GEPIK Orientation. Incredible new teachers, a tireless YBM staff, passionate coordinators, great presentations and my fellow kindred mentors all made for the best GEPIK event I've ever been involved with. Really hope everyone took away some awesome, useful information and a good sense of what the GEPIK family is all about. Also promise to upload some new stuff very very soon. Have a wonderful spring and semester!
