Hey Yellow Submarine Followers! (all 3 of you!!!) If you're a regular voyager on the yellow sub, and who isn't? (oh, you're all raising your hands - does that mean you ARE or AREN'T regular visitors…um, don't answer that) Anyway, I've added a new page about Konglish. Just click on the "Konglish" tab at the top of my blog to find out more about this interesting amalgamation of tongues.

Still working on uploading other stuff, so stay tuned. Enjoy this nice fall weather in Korea while it lasts - and any weather, wherever you are!
GEPIK 2014 ROCKED!
That's the only way I can quite describe the awesome event we all just participated in. (you see, I'm so excited, I even ended a sentence with a preposition!) Meeting so many enthusiastic new teachers and old friends only reaffirmed my faith in our great system.

For those who asked for individual assistance, I am in the process of gathering the information you requested. Everyone else, just let me know what you need. Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be uploading some new games, a kit to start your own Morning English Broadcast, various files I promised to post, as well as a whole new page with fun facts & musings about Konglish

My fellow GEPIK teachers - KEEP ROCKIN'
and please keep in touch!
HAPPY SPRING IN KOREA! Is it just me, or did it suddenly get warmer overnight? Anyway, hope everyone is staying healthy and happy. Speaking of healthy, I wonder if there are still some teachers struggling with a non-English version of MS Office on our school's computers. I just posted a new instruction sheet for newer versions of Office and Windows that may help you to change your language settings. Just go to the 'Ideas and Resources' page and look under "PowerPointers" - there are four different solutions for you to try and change some default settings for various combinations of Windows OS / MS Office. Many thanks to Buziwe Mbatha for making me aware of other possible issues. Take Care!
